How Much Will I Have To Pay An Attorney To Represent Me?
Attorneys are paid only if the Commission awards them a fee. Attorneys are not permitted to charge seperately for their services. The Commission awards fees to attorneys after hearings or awards of permanent disability benefits. The Commission will determine the amount of the fee, not to exceed 20% of a permanent partial disability award.
